The sun setting created such a magnificent array of colours over Lytham Green and the Windmill that it was simply irresistable.  Lytham green is a popular and beautiful place to walk in the evening at any time of year, with the sun setting and creating a magnificent array of colours in the sky and reflecting in the water.  If you go in the early morning it is possible to see the shrimpers at work in the bay, perhaps another good subject for a painting?
