All my prints, both Limited and Open edition, are individually created to order on heavyweight, acid free, fine art paper using Epson professional pigmented inks, for long lasting fade-resistant prints.Each print is then Hand Embellished and signed by me, the artist, making every print a unique piece of artwork. As a finishing touch a certificate of authenticity, showing the title, edition (Limited Edition prints only) and date of hand embellishment is included with every print purchased.
Why do I hand embellish my fine art prints?
When a print is created from an original piece of artwork, no matter how excellent the reproduction may be, there is always a small difference in the clarity of the colour between the print and the original.Hand embellishing, the process of over painting the print or parts of the print, helps to recreate the beauty, depth and clarity of the original painting’s colour, while at the same time creating a unique piece of art work that differs from all the other prints in the edition, making your print unique and because of that just a little bit more special.
Mounts
I recommend that my paintings and prints are mounted using acid free, white core, mount board. This is because the use of standard mount board, which is not acid free, will in time damage your artwork by discolouring the fine art paper on which it is painted or printed.I can supply acid free double mounts which will enhance your art work and have been cut to my specification so that they will easily pop into a standard size frame available from any high street outlet.
If you decide to purchase your acid free double mount from me when you purchase your artwork, I will mount your print free of charge and supply it in a cellophane bag with a protective back, so if you are giving it as a gift you simply need to wrap it.
