Capture forever the beauty and personality of your special friends. As animal lovers ourselves we understand the bond that exists between pet and owner. So often our pets are just like one of the family, and bring much joy and pleasure into our lives.
Having a pet portrait is a wonderful way to cherish the joys and laughter that your pet gives you, and create a timeless tribute to your faithful friend. A Portrait makes a most wonderful personal and original gift that will be truly appreciated by the receiver for many years to come. Deposit
We do require a small deposit when you order your portrait and then send us your photos by email or post them on CD, please read our Photography Tips here for information about file sizes, sending images, and the best type of photos to send us.
Sending your photos
The quality of the photos you send is important because the better they are the more closely we will be able to reflect the character of the subject. For a life-like portrait we need at least one good, detailed reference photograph.
Approval
Once your portrait is complete we will take a digital photograph of it and upload it to a place online where you will be able to see it for approval prior to paying the balance. We leave the uploaded image of your portrait online for up to a week so you have time to view it at your leisure. We will then send you an email asking you to pay the balance of the payment after which we will post your portrait to you, carefully packed, via Royal Mail Special Delivery, so that it is insured and arrives quickly and safely.
How long does it take?
We can usually complete a portrait in about 2 to 3 weeks, but the time taken will depend somewhat on the number of subjects and the size of the finished artwork. Work produced on canvas will take longer as the varnish needs to dry and then it has to go to the framer before we send it out to you.
Also we do tend to be very busy before Christmas, doing portraits for Christmas gifts, and around Easter when we are asked for portraits for Spring weddings, so please allow a little extra time for us to complete your portrait at these busy times.
