Drawings

This is a study of a girl using graphite pencils. The soft graphite sticks blend beautifully and give an interesting texture to the drawing.
In the portrait she has a haunting look, which I particularly like.

Not everyone liked these domes when St Anne's square was re-developed a couple of years ago, but I thought the line of domes and concrete balls made an interesting sketch.
This was drawn with pen and ink, I quite liked the effect when it was finished.
